Its kinda unbelievable that sept is coming to an end, and my birthday is coming soon!! I cant wait for this oct to come, cos i have programs lining up for myself.. kekkekeke

Wel, cant reali recal wat hav i been busy for the month of sept.. the most memorable ones is that

1 - Alicia's baby boy has come to this wonderful world on the 15th Sept, after more than
10hours of labour pain... ... weighing abt 3kgs+.. cant wait to b back in singapore to see and
play with the baby! So rang her and chatted with Alicia for more than 30mins. it was reali
great to talk to her as this is my 1st time chattin with her on the phone since im in dublin, ;)

2 - Rang Anna, my best friend, after Alicia and think we were on the phone for prob more than
1hour.. ;p it was realli a fantastic feeling to be talking to her, instead of emailing.. cant msn
wif her ever since she has changed her job.. so was realli missing her a lot, although i do send
her letters and pics, ;)

we had some real funny conversations and she has not changed in a bit.. her persistence is one of her strongest character and this is wat i reali admire and like abt her. She was askin for my date of being back in spore, but it is reali meant to b a secret, and of cos, the best solution is to change the topic, and even after 30mins of chattin abt other stuffs, she stil comes back with the same question abt my date.. lol and she started to guess the date and tried to trick me into giving the date.. i tink thats the funniest character of her, peishi, xiuling.. and mine too actualy!! We do share some of the characters, and prob that's y they are my closest friends in my life! lol
the last time i chatted wif peishi, its the same situation too.. kkekekkekeke

3 - had the videocam chattin wif my family on one of the weekends. I think it was a few mths
back since i chat wif my mum. but wel, im always on the msn wif my sister and bro, so tats
fine. :) but it stil feels gd to b on the msn chattin wif my mum & dad and to b able to see my
darling, coco on the screen. i miss him too much!! to think that i even send 2 packets of
snacks home, and on the envelope, i wrote- specially to my love, Coco Chin. lol
i tink my family must b laughing when they received the package. ;) im always the one doing
the weirdest, funny, crazy thing in the family. hehehehhee. the funniest question that my
dad asked was that, if im coming home in december alone or in 2.. my sis jokingly replied
that i might b comin back in 3, lol

4 - Darren and Xiaomin are engaged, and im reali happy when minmin told me abt the great
news. the proposal was kinda funny too, but that was so like Darren's style! ;p and hopefully i
wont b missing their wedding, as she has already put me on the guestlist, im so happy! ;)

So, other than all these great stuffs that has happened in Sept.. Next wil b Oct!

Wil b going to the UK Salsa congress, which wil b @ Bournemouth
Then New York, and Boston!! !! !!
Cant wait to meet up wif Tor, Shun,in NYC, and hopefully Sean too!! !! !!

Finally, wil b on the plane again!! !! hahahhahahah

Another festival that i am going to miss.. Mid Autumn Festival aka Mooncake festival.. :(
The homesickness always get worse during these kind of (chinese) festivals.. because i've always spend these festivals with my family.

So What's the festivall all about.. ? There are people who celebrate it but don't really know the significance of it..

The Definations -Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as “Harvest Festival”, which is one of the most well known Chinese Festival none other than the “moon festival”

The Date -The date of Mid-autumn Festival also known as Chinese Moon Festival is on the 15th moon day of 8th Chinese lunar month (Chicken month). Since the new moon day is the first day of a Chinese Lunar Month. The first day of 8th lunar month in the year 2001 is 11th September 2007, the Moon Festival is on 25 September 2007.

This is a day to worship the moon god. According to folk legend, this day is also the birthday of the earth god (T'u-ti Kung). This festival signals that the year's hard work in the fields will soon come to an end, with only the harvest left to attend to. People use this opportunity to express their gratitude to heaven (represented by the moon) and earth (symbolized by the earth god) for the blessings they have enjoyed over the past year. The Chinese believe in praying to the moon god for protection, family unity, and good fortune. The round "moon cakes" eaten on this festival are symbolic of family unity and closeness. Pomelos are also eaten on this day. The Chinese word for "pomelo" or "grapefruit" is yu, which is homophonous with the word for "protection," yu, expressing the hope that the moon god give them protection. Moon gazing is another essential part of this festival. On this day, the moon is at its roundest and brightest. This is also a time for lovers to tryst and pray for togetherness, symbolized by the roundness of the moon. Unlike most other Chinese festivals, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a low-key holiday, characterized by peace and elegance.

There're times when i feel vulnerable,
There're times when i wished that i am not tat strong
There're times when i wished i can depend on others
But, I can't and i won't.

Sometimes i wished that i can be naive
Sometimes i wished that i can turn a blind eye
Sometimes i wished that i can just pretend that i have no clue
But, I can't, and i won't.

Times when i wished that i can care less about others
Times when i wished that i want to be selfish
Times when i wished that i can stop thinking
But i can't, and i won't.

The HermitThe Hermit denotes a need to have some space between you and everyday hustle and bustle of a busy world. The Hermit needs to retreat. Indeed, happiness for The Hermit requires seclusion, freedom for material wants and time for intense introspection. The answers The Hermit needs cannot be found in our physical world. The truths he seeks are internal and spiritual. The distraction of a well developed social life can only impede his quest for personal truths. Still, The Hermit does sometimes need to share time with others so that he can learn or teach, guide or be guided. The Hermit’s time spent amongst people depletes his energy quickly. To avoid an overlord, he has to retreat from social settings quickly.

Surprisingly, this is my tarot reading for today, wednesday 5 sept.
Very True indeed.

Was spending almost the whole day @ home, watchin the tele, Dvds.. but now, hav to get ready to laeve the house to meet up wif rebecca. ;)
